We had an amazing time in August at Newday serving the Newfrontiers youth festival in the UK. This is such a precious time as thousands of teenagers come together for a fun week encountering the living God with excellent times of worship and outstanding teaching. Sarah also got to interview a team member, the hilarious George Gibson from Kings Church Edinburgh. George is another quality guy that God has added to this exciting adventure of sharing the good news of Jesus with the city of Berlin. August was also a challenging month actively searching for somewhere new to live. We were hoping to enjoy a holiday and some time off, but instead we spent this month really battling in prayer and searching for a new rental apartment. Whilst it was a frustrating time, we felt God so close to us in every step of the process. We sensed the sovereign hand of God inviting us in to learn how to do battle in prayer, but from a place of friendship and seeking His face. After a month of searching (which felt like an age) and a deadline of being homeless, we got an exciting answer to prayer and have a new flat! We start a new contract and move in the first week of September. As well as lessons in prayer, we have an incredible new home in a great location in the city.
