It was fun exploring the Christmas markets through December, enjoying tasty gluhwein and all the festivities. As a group we were joined by some guests and family members to celebrate our first Berlin Adventure Christmas together. Meditating on the incarnation of Christ has really helped us to reflect more on the mission God has called us to here in Berlin. Jesus took on flesh and was born (wow!). He grew up as a seemingly unimpressive man (Isaiah 53:2) and adapted to living in a culture. We're slowly adapting to our new life here in Berlin, learning how to love and be Berliners. God has called us as New Ground to plant churches, which involves pioneering works into new countries and cultures. We are so blessed to arrived in the influential city of Berlin and can't wait to be a blessing. We're super excited for 2019, it's going to be a very significant year for us as a church plant. We'll be defining some vision and culture, and starting our Non-Profit 'Verein' charity. In January we'll be joined by new team members and kicking off the year with a month of prayer. January is always a good opportunity to stop and give thanks to God for all He has done over the past year. God is SO good, steadfast and faithful, providing for us every step of the way on this Berlin Adventure. Personally we are entering a new season of living by faith as Sarah goes full time again as a self-employed musician. We are trusting God for His provision each day and month, and praying for some exciting music work for Sarah. Thank you for your ongoing support and prayers. Happy New Year!
